When it comes to travelling Thailand from Malaysia, we have multiple modes of transport which is cheaper by all means and modes.
Klong Jilad Pier in Krabi Town is the main pier and connecting point to near by Tourist Hot-Spots such as Phuket Island, Koh Phi Phi Island and Koh Lanta.
Ao Nam Mao Pier in Krabi is the main gateway to Railay Beach. Most Long Tails coming from Railay Beach will arrive at the Old Ao Nam Mao pier also called Nam Mao Pier 1. Boat services to Railay, 4 Islands and Hong Island.
Khao Kanab Nam, the symbol of Krabi, two karst rocks situated next to each other. 15 minutes longtail boat can take you from the pier to the rocks, where you can walk up some stairs to the top
Wat Kaew: one of the main temples in Krabi town, new building (to some it may look like a shiny white wedding cake) located on Thanon Maharat close to Th. Pattana.
Tiger Temple (Wat Tham Suea): one of the most famous temples in Southern Thailand, located on top of a mountain about 8 km northeast of the Krabi town. There is a stairways with 1237 steps to the top to visit a tiger's footprint on the top of mountain. Those who make it to the top will also be rewarded with 360 degree views of the area and the sea.
Krabi Walking street night market is another place to unwind and enjoy the evening with plenty of food choices.
As mentioned earlier, Krabi town is laid back and normal, For those seeking night life and Island hopping, Head straight to Ao Nang from Krabi Airport.
I will give some detailed review about Ao Nang in my next post.
Till Then.....
